THIS .DEB FILE IS NOW OBSOLETE, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE SONGBIRD 1 FINAL INSTALLER HERE.
As my friend Giovanni, and a few other users pointed out, the last .deb file that I had created for the Songbird 1 RC3 release did not work properly in multiple-user environments, in that it only worked properly for the person who installed the deb.
With much help from Giovanni, I have corrected the problem and rebuilt the .deb to work in multiple-user environments. So please, if you have more than 1 account on your PC, and others want access to Songbird, please uninstall the old Songbird .deb and install this new one in its place.
